Grandma Pat lifted her head and placed her hand on her heart. “Oh my. Where on God’s green earth did the those come from, Child?”
Nia sat the roses on the table and peeked inside the envelope. Lace.
“I don’t know, Grandma.” She ran to her bedroom and shut the door behind her. She peeked into the envelope. She reached in and brought out a small, yellow hand-written note. The typed wording at the top of the note said, “Carton Industries.” She read the note.
